This article will go through how to make a custom scrolling ticker tape message using the Noticeboard 2.0 app.
For steps on how to do this with the legacy version Signage (2015), please see here.

Example of a scrolling ticker tape
1. Install the Noticeboard 2.0 app
Get started by visiting Noticeboard 2.0 from ScreenCloud's App Store and click "Install App".
2. Configure the app with any text
Next, set up your app with the text you'd like to display as a scrolling ticker tape. You'll be prompted with a new window to set up the Noticeboard 2.0 app. Click "Save" once you're done adding text and the app will be installed into your ScreenCloud account.
Please note, if you do not add enough text into the app, it will keep it static and not be able to scroll. If you'd like to learn step-by-step how to use our app, click here to view ScreenCloud's Noticeboard 2.0 app guide.
3. Use your scrolling ticker tape for digital signage
Once you've finished configuring the app and have it saved to your installed apps, the Noticeboard 2.0 app can be added into one of your channel zone layouts in the scrolling ticker-tape zone. To learn more about using zone layouts with channels in ScreenCloud Studio, please click here.
3.1. Visit your "Channels" section from the left-hand navigation of your account, select any channel you'd like to add the Noticeboard 2.0 app.
3.2. Once you've selected a channel, click the "Edit Channel" button in the upper-right hand corner.
3.3. Click "Edit Layout" from the right-hand menu, and select the "Main + Footer" zone layout. Please note, if your device does not support multi-zone layouts, zone layouts will not display or be available for your screen(s) using devices without this feature. Please visit https://screencloud.com/hardware to review our supported devices which have this feature or contact email@example.com for further assistance.
3.4. Click the yellow "Select" button and now your channel will switch to using the "Main + Footer" zone layout. Please note, any screen that is using this channel will now display this zone layout once you publish the changes made live.
3.5. Next, use the drop-down menu selector to select the "Footer" zone to start adding your Noticeboard 2.0 app and other media into this section of your channel.
3.6. Once you've selected "Footer", you'll be prompted to add content into the empty zone. Click on "Add Content" and select your Noticeboard 2.0 app from the "Apps" tab.
3.7. Select the yellow "Add" button and now the Noticeboard 2.0 app will run as a scrolling ticker-tape message on all of the screens this channel is being used on. Please note, if your message entered into the Noticeboard 2.0 app isn't long enough then the message will remain static and not scroll.
3.8. Select the "Preview" channel button to view an example of how the Noticeboard 2.0 app will look live on screen.
3.9. Once you're done reviewing the changes to your channel, select the yellow "Publish" button for the updates to push live to your screens.
